STUDIO VISIT
Folkcharm Studio warmly welcomes those curious about our story and operations. In a cozy space of less than 50 square meters, our studio serves as a hub for creativity and connection where designing, showcasing and all activities of our handwoven creations all come together. It’s also a place where our tailor meets with us to discuss and coordinate the work, offering a glimpse into the heart of our operations.
Our studio is also open for customers who wish to explore and select our products in person. Visitors will not only have the chance to explore and select products but also experience the vibrant atmosphere of our day-to-day operations. You’ll see firsthand how we bring Slow Fashion to life and gain insights into our processes and philosophy.
To ensure we can accommodate you, we kindly ask that you contact us 1-2 days in advance, as the studio may be unstaffed at certain times.

INTERNSHIP
Internship with Folkcharm: An Experience Beyond Learning
Discover the True Meaning of Craftsmanship and Sustainability
Through Our Internship Program
An Internship That Goes Beyond a Traditional Fashion Brand
Folkcharm is evolving from primarily creating sustainable fashion products into a broader space for learning, experimentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. For interns, this creates opportunities not only to support what already exists, but also to research, propose, test, and help shape new directions. We encourage interns to connect their own field of study with the challenges facing sustainable fashion and craft — and to explore how new ideas, systems, and technologies can contribute to more responsible and resilient ways of working.
Role Overview
Folkcharm interns work closely with our small team and gain hands-on experience across different areas of a sustainable fashion and social enterprise. Because our work spans products, communities, education, communication, research, and innovation, internships are not limited to traditional fashion roles.
We welcome students from fashion, design, sustainability, communication, business, technology, data, AI, engineering, and related disciplines who are interested in applying their knowledge to real-world challenges within sustainable fashion and craft. Interns may support existing projects, conduct research, or help develop and test new ideas depending on their interests, skills, and field of study.
What You Will Learn from Us
-
Learn Directly from the Source
Gain the unique opportunity to visit our partner communities, located over 600 kilometers from Bangkok. Here, you will experience the entire process of creating handwoven cotton, from chemical-free cotton farming and natural dyeing to hand weaving. This hands-on learning also deepens your understanding of local lifestyles and the importance of working collaboratively with communities.
-
Develop Practical Skills
You will be assigned a variety of tasks, such as planning online marketing strategies, creating content that tells the story of our brand, managing pop-up sales booths, overseeing backend operations, handling inventory management, and more. We encourage you to bring your fresh, creative ideas to the table.
-
Understand the Importance of Sustainability
Our internship program is more than just a chance to gain work skills. It’s an opportunity to learn how businesses can create a positive impact on communities and the environment through sustainable practices.
