โดยปกติทั่วไปแล้วทุกคนอาจจะรู้จักแต่คำว่า ฤดูข้าว แต่วันนี้มาทำความรู้จัก ฤดูฝ้าย กัน

ฤดูฝ้าย” ในนิยามของ Folkcharm หมายถึง การปลูกฝ้ายในช่วงฤดูฝนประมาณกลางปี และเก็บฝ้ายช่วงต้นหนาวปลายปี กันยายนนี้ก็เป็นเวลาที่ฝ้ายกำลังขึ้นเป็นต้นกล้าเลย
“ปลูกตามฤดูกาลแบบธรรมชาติ” ฝ้ายของเรานั้นเติบโตจากน้ำฝน 100% เมื่อมีหญ้าแซม จะกำจัดวัชพืชด้วยการถอนมือ ไม่ใช้ยาฆ่าแมลง และได้รับการดูแลตามวิถีธรรมชาติ

4. เมื่อต้นสูงประมาณครึ่งเมตร ใช้ดินกลบโคนต้นเพื่อให้ต้น-รากแข็งแรง
5. หากไม่อยากให้ต้นฝ้ายขึ้นสูงตรง ตัดกิ่งเพื่อให้กิ่งแตกออกด้านข้าง
6. หมั่นถอนหญ้าหรือวัชพืชออก และพรวนดิน
7. หากใบมีโรคหงิกงอให้ถอนใบออก แล้วฝังดินแยกหรือไปที้งที่อื่น
8. ดอกภายใน 2 เดือนจะกลายเป็น สมอต้องระวังแมลงเจาะสมอฉีดน้ําส้มควันไม้หรือใช้วิธีไล่แมลงอื่นๆ
9. ประมาณ 3 เดือน ดอกฝ้าย จะแตกออกสามารถเก็บดอกฝ้ายได้เรื่อยๆหรือแต่งกิ่งให้ขึ้นใหม่
10. ปลูกทิ้งใว้ได้ แต่นานๆไปฝ้ายจะออกดอกนอยลงหากไม่แตงกิ่ง สามารถถอนและปลูกใหม่ปีต่อปี
