สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา โฟล์คชาร์ม ได้รับโอกาสสื่อสารเรื่องราวของเราให้กับ เพื่อนๆและคนทั่วไป ณ ญี่ปุ่น และเกาหลีไต้ ประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับ จากการพบปะคนหลากหลาย ทั้งเชื้อชาติและสายงาน ทำให้เราตระหนักถึงความสำคัญในการสื่อสารแก่นฟันเฟืองหลัก ที่ทำให้โฟล์คชาร์มเดินหน้าต่อไปค่ะ
· โ ฟ ล์ ค ช า ร์ ม ค ร า ฟ ท์ · ก่อตั้งขึ้นมาภายไต้แก่นความเชื่อมั่น 2 ข้อ คือ ‘ความเป็นธรรม’ และ ‘การสร้างโอกาส’ เพราะเราเชื่อว่าปัญหาความเหลื่อล้ำในสังคมทั้งในเมืองและชนบทมีต้นตออยู่ที่ “ความไม่เป็นธรรม” และ “การเข้าไม่ถึงหรือถูก
ปิดโอกาส” จุดยืนของเราไม่ใช่นักพัฒนา แต่เป็นเพียงรูปแบบธุรกิจที่รักจะไม่เอาเปรียบใคร ชุมชนและผู้เกี่ยวข้องที่เราทำงานอยู่ด้วยล้วนผ่านการพัฒนาโดยองค์กรเอกชนและภาครัฐมาแล้วทั้งนั้น โฟล์คชาร์มให้เกียรติและเห็นถึงบุญคุณของโครงการพัฒนาต่างๆ เพราะหากไม่มีโครงการเหล่านี้ คนรุ่นหลังอย่างเรา คงไม่สามารถสานต่อความเจตนาดีได้
มิชชั่นหลักของเรา คือเป็นธุรกิจที่เป็นธรรม โปร่งใส เพิ่มโอกาส ให้ข้อมูลการตลาดกับทุกคนที่เรามีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องด้วย เพื่อสามารถตระหนักถึงศักยภาพสูงสุดที่ทุกคนมี โดยเราไม่ผูกมัดหรือผูกขาด เพียงเน้นการเคารพในหน้าที่เพื่อเกื้อกูลกันและกัน

In the past week, FolkCharm Crafts has been very lucky to share our passion and the stories of our artisans to South Korea’s general public and the international community of social businesses. It has made us realise how important it is to reiterate our core values to our friends both at home and abroad.
FolkCharm Crafts was established under a believe that “Fairness” and “Opportunities” are the cores of our work. Communities and all stakeholders we work with have been through several development projects by NGOs and governmental organisations alike. We are sincerely grateful for the all the previous generation of development practitioners have done. Because without them, we would not be able to pay forward the passion towards fairness and sustainability.
Our capacity is not to ‘develop’ the communities we are working with. Rather, we work with them looking outwards to the future by providing a fair and transparent cost structure and opportunities to be exposed to a larger market and and uncover their fullest potential, while premiums from sales become incentives at their leverage points of development.
